MOTOMORPHIC AND THE JaFM
Frustrated at not being able to find a source for a truly custom motorcycle that suited his tastes, Jim Davis founded MotoMorphic. MotoMorphic is the resource for radical custom motorcycles that are meant to be ridden-motorcycles that cannot be mistaken for anything else, and are as unforgettable and distinctive as their owners.
The JaFM is a physical manifestation of the MotoMorphic philosophy. Not only does it look incredible, it's a good ride, comfortable for riding on the back roads, highways, or down the boulevard. It's an ostentatious self-expression of functional power and strength, brute force melded with exquisite execution.
At first glance, it is obvious that the MotoMorphic JaFM is different. The hood scoop looks hungry and mean; the enormous tires are overstated; the huge frame tubes mated with elegantly machined and welded assemblies, integrated with the hand formed bodywork all conspire to create an unrivaled visual impact. And that's before you throw a leg over it, fire it up, and head for the hills, leaving onlookers gaping in astonishment that such a thing exists, and even more so that it can actually be ridden.
Massive frame spars welded to machined aluminum components make up a rock solid chassis that also holds the fuel. The riding position is very natural and relaxed; though the JaFM looks large, when seated on the exotic saddle, the foot pegs and controls are placed where they work best, and the grips and levers fall naturally to hand.
The heartbeat of MotoMorphic's JaFM is a technologically advanced durable Teutonic engine built by Rotax. Fresh air enters through the hood scoop, which functions as well as the housing for the headlights. Exhaling via stainless steel pipes through a custom muffler, the rumble is assertive but not offensive.
The riding position is tailored to fit each individual JaFM owner. The unique ratio of their seat-to-foot pegs-to-handgrips is measured and incorporated into the crafting of each JaFM. The foot pegs are positioned on rearset brackets that are machined in-house on a per customer basis, and the unique spherical mount bar wings and handlebars give an unlimited range of adjustment for hand position. The JaFM's user interface is built to the exclusive proportions of the owner.
Motorcyclists are participants, not spectators. They live, get outside and get involved, and are proud of what they do. Nicolas Cage could have been speaking about his motorcycle when his character in Wild at Heart said "This is a symbol of my individuality and my belief in personal freedom!"
Riding the MotoMorphic JaFM is the pinnacle of individuality.
